Our client, a market leader in Exchange Traded Funds, is looking to hire a dynamic investment professional as its Head of Operations to lead the organisation during its next development phase.

The Role:-
- Daily Management of the ETF operations function
- Operational Risk review of existing systems and processes
- Function as the key point of contact for counterparties such as vendors, regulators, auditors and HNW investors 
- Continuous assessment and improvement on internal controls and operational procedures with a view to risk, compliance and AML
- Ensuring that SLA's are adhered too and that all published fund information is accurate.
- Ensuring that all trade activity and cash flows are captured within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring accurate daily NAVs are produced
- Coordinate and review the distributions cycle in accordance with the prospectus
- Resolve operational and compliance related occurrences
- Liaise with the ASX in the licensing of new funds
- Assist in preparing quarterly reporting  for the Board Meetings
- Lead the selection and implementation of new systems as the business grows and enters into new security types and invests in new markets
- Production of high quality and informative product disclosure statements and other regulatory requirements
- Participate in product development and structuring projects

The Candidate:-
- Minimum degree qualified in an Accounting/Finance related discipline
- A very strong background including management experience in asset management , prime broker / broker or global custody
- A proven track record of success and achievements in a similar role within the Investment Market
- An excellent technical knowledge of market terminology, financial products (including complex derivatives) & investment markets, trade processing & settlement processes, custody / prime brokers, structural management, operational risk and controls, AFSL / ASIC compliance
- Confident, highly motivated and enjoys a challenge
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a small team and independently
